During this time, the terrorists hacked and injured Sumon Mollah in multiple parts of his body including his hands, legs and head. The terrorists even left the scene thinking death was certain. Later, the family members rushed Sumon Mollah to A Bangla Medical College Hospital in Barisal.
Sumon Mollah, a terrorist group of 50/60 people including Zahidur Rahman Monir Mollah, follower of the mayor and organizing secretary of Barisal Metropolitan Awami League, Saidur Rahman Zakir, councilor of 25th ward, Mr. Masum, president of 25th ward Awami League, Roni, Moin Sikder and Sohail Mollah. Carried out this attack on. Another worker, Al Amin, who was with Sumon at the time, was also seriously injured.
Asked about the allegations, Barisal Metropolitan Awami League organizing secretary Zahidur Rahman Monir Mollah told reporters that he was at home at the time of the incident. On the other hand, ward councilor Saidur Rahman Zakir claimed that the allegation was not true and that he had gone to the spot after hearing the incident. Councilor Mr. Zakir Hossain did not agree to say more than that.
All ordinary workers are demanding immediate trial of the terrorists in this incident. Their demand is that if the attackers on labor-friendly Sumon Mollah are not arrested and brought under the law, the road transport will be stopped and the southern region will be paralyzed.
