School-college open till 20th April, 2 days off per week
Secondary and higher secondary level educational institutions will be open till 20th April (17th Ramadan) instead of 26th April. Also, schools and colleges will be closed two days a week (Friday and Saturday) during the month of Ramadan respectively.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the Ministry of Education at the Secretariat on Monday (April 4). The matter has been confirmed by the Information and Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Education, Mr. MA Khair.
He further said that all the educational institutions of secondary and higher secondary level will remain open till April 20. There will be weekly holidays only on Fridays and Saturdays in the month of Ramadan.
Earlier on March 26, the office order signed by the joint secretary of the secondary and higher education department of the Ministry of Education Md. Nazrul Islam said that the regular classes would continue till April 26.
